Ready to be part of our Stations Team at Lancaster?
If there's nothing you like better than learning new things and meeting new people, then you could be just who we're looking for. You should be shiny-shoed neat and professional - as well as a good listener and a master of thinking on your feet.
Essentials of the role include:
Provide pro-active assistance, information and guidance to all T.O.C's customers. Meet passengers throughout the station, platforms, concourse and all public areas.
Such assistance must include seeking out customers with particular travel requirements (e.g. severed connections or help with routine platform interchange), taking the initiative in solving problems and providing reassurance.
Ensure the safe and punctual departure of all services in accordance with laid down procedures when required.
To be well presented, wear uniforms maintained in good order (including name badges) and trained to have a thorough knowledge of all T.O.C's services and products.
As you can imagine, this is an important role for us so we really need the right person. We don't just want someone who can answer questions, we want a team player who can help customers on their way with a big beaming smile.
Please note this is a safety critical position and you will need to pass a safety critical medical if successful with your application.
If successful with your application you will be placed in a Talent Bank, and offered a role as and when they arise.
Please upload a CV as part of your application.
