Customer Service Assistant – Student Accommodation

Based at: Canterbury Hall, PR1 1AL

Salary: £20,000 per annum

Hours: 37.5, between weekday hours of 8am - 8pm

Start date: tbc, with a three-month probationary period

Canterbury Hall, Preston, opened its doors in 2018, and was followed by Nurtur Student Living’s flagship property, Nurtur House, in Sheffield in September 2020. The job role

  • Provide a first-class service to our residents, third parties, and partners visiting Canterbury Hall.
  • Deliver on the company sales leasing plan, providing support on sales activity including conducting property viewings.
  • Dealing with enquires and queries, both from current and potential residents via a variety of contactable means.
  • Assisting with room inspections and in the general upkeep of the property
  • Work with the marketing team in the delivery of the social calendar.
  • Promoting the very best of health and safety practice and procedures.
  • Any other reasonable tasks we consider appropriate, commensurate with the role.

About you

  • An engaging team player, well-versed in multitasking roles and using own initiative.
  • Adaptable and able to keep calm during challenging situations.
  • Competency in use of in-house systems (training will be provided) and Microsoft office.
  • Customer focused, committed to high-standards and pushing-through on difficult tasks.
  • A flexible attitude to work, well-organised, taking ownership of own workload.
  • Driven to deliver on the company values and standards, with the highest integrity.
