Job description
Lancashire Double Glazing Group Ltd supply and install windows, doors and conservatories to retail customers and are seeking a customer service assistant to work in their Installations Department. You will work alongside the Installations co-ordinator to ensure a smooth day-to-day running of the department.
Responsibilities:
- take calls from customers and help with any issues they may have
- take card payments from customers over the phone
- chase customers for outstanding balances owed
- help the co-ordinator maintain the fitting diaries
- any ad-hoc duties assigned by the Installations Manager
- taking payments to the Accounts department for banking
- communicating with other departments in order to get answers to queries
Requirements:
- ability to work as part of a team or on own accord
- capable of working under pressure
- accept and deal with calls from dissatisfied customers in a calm manner
- be organised and good at communicating with people at all levels
- quick to learn new computer systems
- punctual and hard working
Previous experience in a similar role or from a similar industry is advantageous. However, full training will be given for this role.
Hours of work are Monday-Friday 7.30am - 4.30pm, and Friday 7.30am - 4pm. We have free parking available on site.
Pay is dependent on experience.
