The above position is available for Vine Court Halls of Residence on a permanent basis.
Acting as the first line of enquiry for students, staff, contractors, deliveries and visitors your duties will include working on reception handling a wide variety of enquiries, distribution of mail and parcels, carrying out health and safety checks, reporting repairs and generally responding to operational issues as required and working to assist the Reception Supervisor in ensuring that there is an efficient and effective delivery of the customer service.
You should have a personable manner and excellent communication skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook. You should have a minimum of 3 GCSE or equivalent at grade C or above including English.
There are opportunities for progression and development within the department and the wider network of the University and a number of training courses available that is relevant to the role.
Previous experience in a customer service/hospitality environment is essential.
WORKING PATTERN: Friday 4pm-8pm, Saturday 9am-6pm and Sunday 9am-6pm
