Job description

We are looking to recruit Customer Service Advocates to join the Council’s Customer Enabling Service.

Working patterns are as follows:
1) Permanent Variable Hours (PVH)
We are looking to recruit Customer Service Advocates on a PVH contract. Working hours will be as and when required predominantly evening, weekends and night shift (enhancement paid where applicable).
2) Night Shift 14 hours per week
We are looking to recruit a customer service advocate to work 17.5 hours per week between the hours of 11pm and 7am. With a working pattern of 2 shifts on and 6 off.
3) Permanent 37 hrs between the hours of 08.30 – 17.00
We are looking to Customer Service Advocates on a permanent contract, working hours will be 08.30 – 17.00 Monday to Friday.
4) Temporary 37 hrs between the hours of 08.30 – 17.00
We are looking to recruit Customer Service Advocates on a temporary contract, working hours will be 08.30 – 17.00 Monday to Friday.

The successful candidates will be part of a busy Customer Service Team responsible for providing a first-class service to our customers. You must demonstrate that you are willing to be flexible, will support colleagues and strive to deliver a service to be proud of. In exchange, you’ll have lots of opportunity to develop and receive support and encouragement from those around you.

To be successful you will need to have the communication skills to relate to different people from across the community, presenting a positive, helpful approach and be comfortable working with new technology.
