Orca was founded in 2010 and we have since become one of the leading virtual receptionists, PA and outsourced communication specialists in the UK, with an intention to expand globally.
Due to our continued success and fantastic growth, we are looking to further strengthen our team with additional Night/Conti Workers
Shifts
The working hours are between 8pm - 8am. There may be some flexibility on the shifts, it's something we can discuss with candidates during the recruitment process.
As a Call Handler, you will be responsible for answering a volume of calls on behalf of a number of different companies. This includes housing associations in which you will be responsible for triaging emergencies, logging on several different systems and contacting engineers.
The full time role does include a period where you will be expected to work alone.
Full training is completed during daytime hours for a minimum of 4 weeks before night shifts can commence.
With this being a remote position only, all training will be conducted over teams and the appropriate candidate will need to have stable working wi-fi, access to their own computer/laptop and a headset.
Skills and Experience
- Exceptional communication skills with a polite and professional telephone manner
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong administration skills
- Previous call centre experience dealing with a high volume of calls would be desirable
- Confidence to work well under pressure
