Job description
What jobs do we have on offer?
We currently have full-time and part-time positions available in our relaxed Highworth office (Swindon). You will be handling inbound customer service calls on behalf of our growing customer base.
Working hours are between 8:30am and 6:00pm Monday – Friday (start and finish times vary) and there is also the option of working Saturday hours 9:00am to 3:30pm. If you are looking for part-time hours we are happy to discuss your availability.
This will be an office based role, but we may ask you to work from home as needed.
What do I need to know about working for you?
The calls you will be handling are all inbound (this is not a sales role and there is no cold calling). We take calls on behalf of hundreds of different private companies and several national charities, your role will include taking messages, connecting calls through to customers and sometimes processing orders.
We run a very straightforward and honest business. We expect our call team to work hard when we’re busy, (you should expect to be handling calls for between 50% and 75% of your day), but when we’re not we like to give you the freedom to make use of this time, for example use the internet, read a book or study in-between answering calls and chats. We don’t ask you to dress formally in the office, we just need you to be reliable and committed to the role.
If you perform well there’s no cap on your pay increases and progression within the company. We believe in rewarding those who are hardworking, have a good work ethic and who can be relied upon by the rest of the team.
What skills do I need to work with you?
As you’ll be working on the phone and taking basic information from callers we have simple requirements:
· Polite, friendly and positive
· Able to speak English clearly and spell to an acceptable level
· Have familiarity with typing on a computer
Do I need experience?
No. We don't require you to have experience as full training will be given.
Is this job right for me?
If you are committed to working hard when it’s busy, are happy answering customer service calls, enjoy the flexibility to use free time at work for personal things, and love working as part of a relaxed and friendly team, then yes this should be for you.
