About the Role
Our Stock & Fulfilment services are critical to ensuring customer’s orders are processed and fulfilled as soon as possible after they hit the "BUY NOW" button. But it doesn't stop there...
When ASOS looks to bring the latest products onto the site, or a customer adds an item to their bag it is our stock management services that provide the functionality to enable that. We are also enhancing our capabilities to ensure that our customers across the world benefit from global distribution and enhanced product choice. You’ll be dedicated to the Stock & Fulfilment agile teams and part of the business analysis function led by the Lead BA.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Work with our Stock & Fulfilment development teams to define, prioritise, and manage the team’s development backlogs with an agile mindset.
- Collaborate with in-house agile development teams and third-party systems providers to deliver business requirements across entire project and product lifecycles, driving forward new features for our customers.
- Elicit, understand, document, and prioritise business requirements and turn them into accurate user stories that the development teams you work with can deliver.
- Organise, direct, and participate in ceremonies such as, refinement, team stand ups, planning sessions, reviews, retrospectives, and product demonstrations.
- Ensure all functional changes have accompanying non-functional requirements clearly defined to ensure the service is fit for purpose, delivers business value and is performant given the criticality and volume of requests it handles.
- Review feedback on user stories delivered, demonstrating product deliverables, and sharing your team's success stories.
- Work closely with the Platform Lead, Solution Architect, Lead Engineers, and development teams to create a fantastic and collaborative working environment.
- Review the business assumptions on incoming requests so that the requirements and delivered solutions meet both current and future needs.

Who We'd Like to Meet
- Experience as a Business Analyst within Technology working with backend development teams
- Business process modelling (preferably BPMN) skills
- The ability to understand complex business flows and how changes can impact these
- Appreciation of the business context you’re working in, considering all perspectives, and being clear on the ‘why’
- Previous involvement on large scale cross functional change, working closely across multiple technology teams and with third parties
- An understanding of retail processes with exposure to retail teams, services, and metrics would be extremely beneficial, as well as knowledge of e-commerce and supply chain processes, system Integrations and APIs.
