Customer Service Advisor

We are recruiting Customer Service Advisors to join one of our four Contact Centre teams. This is an exciting opportunity to help callers request services and resolve problems to make their lives better.
Full induction and job training will be provided at our city centre office to ensure you feel confident and knowledgeable to answer or find the answer to any query, and support is always on hand to refer to.
If you have a quiet room and strong reliable broadband you can work 60% of your hours from home, and work with your team in the city centre for the other 40% of your week.
As you will be required as a regular and intrinsic part of your role, to speak to members of the public in English, you must be able to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English.
The role is wholly daytime hours, you’ll be on a rotating shift pattern between 8am and 6pm, Monday to Friday. A full-time role is 37 hours per week for 52 weeks a year, and we are open to discuss part time hours.
The positions are permanent, the council has generous holiday entitlement, and the starting salary is £21,575 per year for a full-time post.
