Our largest business area is roofing and membranes. We also specialise in tailor-made, flexible ventilation ducts for mines and tunnels. In addition, we supply multi-purpose technical textiles for a range of applications. Protan is also one of the largest roofing contractors in the Nordic region.
We are looking for a Customer Service Advisor to join our UK team based in Warrington. As a Customer Service Advisor, you will be responsible for:
- Answering incoming calls in a timely and professional manner
- Process on a timely basis all customer orders. This will include order entry onto M3 and the Warehouse Portal.
- Ensuring that all customer orders received in the day are input that day and an acknowledgement sent.
- Liaise with Partner Contractor to ensure they have ordered all components required for their installation
- Reviewing on a daily basis the Open Orders report from M3 and ensuring that it is an accurate reflection of both open orders and values.
- Following up and resolving with customers any issues regarding delivery, price, order quantity.
- Liaising with carriers as to delivery of products in agreement with customers’ requirements.
- Placing relevant orders with third party suppliers of product requirement for deliveries to customers’ site.
- Liaising with Finance Manager with regards to customers whose order exceeds their agreed credit limit or who are late in paying open balances.
- Ensuring the data integrity of all customer records on M3 and any potential CRM system.
- Maintain customer record data.
- Ensure that Protan’s Terms and Conditions are adhered to at all times.
- Provide ad hoc weekly / monthly reports for UK and Norwegian management as may be required.
Miscellaneous
- Manage supplies of literature and giveaways
- Put together literature packs and send out as required
- Supporting role in managing the sales, orders and warranty inbox.
- Providing support for BDM’s when required.
- Administer the Protan Installers Course.
- Raise pro-forma invoices before contractors attend the course and chase payment.
- Ensure all back-up support is ready for the days training including materials.
- Organise lunches.
- Maintain register of attendees.
- Produce installer’s cards upon successful completion for all attendees.
