We are an online retail company who have been trading since 2003. We specialise in furniture and home gym equipment. We sell on platforms such as Amazon and eBay, and also on our own websites.

The Job Role
As a Customer Service Agent, you'll be the first point of contact for our customers and ensure an exceptional level of customer service is provided. You will be receiving and responding to inbound and outbound calls and emails. You will be the heart of the customer care team delivering exceptional customer service. You will aim to resolve customer enquiries in a professional and polite manner. We require you to take the time to understand the needs of each customer and listen actively to evaluate what the customer requires. Your skills and approach will ensure that customers receive the best outcome.
We are seeking someone who is driven and hungry for success as there are opportunities for progression within the business for the right candidate. The applicant must be confident using IT systems and be highly organised, with excellent attention to detail. You will have the ability to prioritise and work on your own initiative as well as part of the team.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Handle customer emails and phone calls.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Investigate and resolve issues whilst proactively seeking solutions.
- Actively operate on Amazon, eBay, OnBuy, Websites and Wayfair.
- Maintaining positive feedback and adhering to performance targets and policies on all seller platforms.
- Using order and inventory management software (Linnworks).
- Use Microsoft Word, Excel and Google Sheets.
- Print pick lists and labels for online orders.
- Log returns and refunds.
- Raise replacement and spare part orders.
- Ensure customer orders are delivered on time by running courier reports.
- Liaise with third party courier companies regarding failed deliveries, items lost in transit, courier damages and general courier enquiries.
- General office admin duties such as maintaining records, checking account metrics, filing and photocopying.
Skills Required
- Communication skills – confident talking on the phone and dealing with customer complaints/issues.
- Confident using IT systems.
- A great attention to detail.
- Have a positive attitude and keen approach to work.
- Good organisation skills.
- A good level of education, including Maths and English.
- General knowledge on using Microsoft Word, Excel and Google Sheets.
Additional Information
- Previous customer service experience is preferred.
- Full training will be provided.
- Hourly Rate - 18 to 20: £7.49, 21 to 22 £10.18, 23 and over: £10.79 + Performance related company bonus scheme.
The job role is permanent, full time. Required hours are 40 hours per week, 5 days a week. You must be available to work Monday to Friday and Sundays on a rotation basis between 8.30am and 5.00pm to meet the business requirements. November to January is a black out period for holidays due to the Christmas rush.
