You’ll be working for British Gypsum in East Leake. British Gypsum is one of more than 30 exciting Saint-Gobain brands in the UK.

  • Has experience of learning new IT systems, applications and confidence using digital systems and processes

What will I be doing in the role?

Our Customer Service Advisors are really important to our success and a critical part of our customer’s positive experience with us. In this role you will be a customer service professional, passionate about delivering an exceptional service to our customers. We want you to be fulfilled by the work you do and ultimately enjoy coming to work for British Gypsum every day. The role is key to enhance our brand, service and business and will not involve you working in a call centre environment. To support our customers effectively you will;

  • Respond to customer enquiries, process orders and contact customers across multiple businesses using a variety of communication methods
  • Mastering more specialist services
  • Contribute to a continuous improvement culture, identifying opportunities and generating ideas to improve our service
  • Gather customer insight through the strong relationships you build to trigger business improvements
  • Show a desire and commitment to develop your own skills and knowledge to perform at your best
  • Mastering more specialist activities including managing export orders, dealing with bespoke orders, account management, customer care, and supporting our Plasterboard Recycling Scheme
