Job description

We are a well established accountancy practice in Rochdale and an opportunity has arisen for a tech savvy administrator to join our team.

A day in the life of your new role will include:

  • Reception duties, including answering incoming calls, emails and scheduling appointments
  • Follows up on phone calls, emails and contacts as appropriate
  • Walking new clients through our on-boarding processes and assisting ex clients to smoothly off board.
  • Assisting with enquires about any of our services
  • Support to Senior Accountants
  • Develop and implement new administrative systems/processes to drive efficiencies and automate where possible
  • Use a range of software, including email, spreadsheets and databases, to ensure the efficient running of the office
  • Manage online and paper filing systems and scanning documents in to our electronic systems.
  • Ensure office & clients meet all compliance requirements
  • Supporting invoicing and chasing for late payments
  • Communicating with internal teams, assisting with other ad hoc Administration tasks.
  • Assist with business development opportunities
  • Assisting with Companies House filings for our clients
  • Other Ad-hoc task as required

We'd love to speak to you if have:

  • Excellent command of the English language, both written and speaking
  • Proven experience in office administration - at least 1 year
  • Strong organisation and time management skills
  • Proficiency in MS office, in particular Excel and Outlook
  • Strong communication skills, confident communicating with internal and external stakeholders

(UK applications only. This role is Monday to Friday 09:00 to 17:00 in our Rochdale office. It is not a WFH role)
