CarStore Direct Pod Advisor

Location: Enfield

40 Hours- (Tuesday- Saturday)

A basic salary of £26,500 with, pension, critical illness pay, life assurance, single health care, 23 days holiday, plus bank holidays, exclusive company discounts on used car purchases, leasing deals and aftersales services.

Are you a confident customer service superstar who’s self motivated and ready for a new challenge? If so, we have a great opportunity for you to join the team at CarStore as a CarStore Direct Pod Advisor.

This position does require a full UK driving licence and may occasionally require cover between various branches, therefore mode of transport is essential.

Working independently from our brand new purpose-built CarStore Direct Pod, you will be responsible for opening and closing the pod whilst always maintaining the highest standards ensuring the environment is clean and welcoming to all customers.

Day to day you will be spending your time with customers wishing to sell their vehicles, guiding and assisting them through the Sell Your Car process.

Full training will be provided to support your main focus, purchasing vehicles from our customers who have a pre-booked appointment using the Sell Your Car Online Valuation tool. In addition, you will be responsible for assisting walk-in business, generating your own leads via prospecting and general enquiry management.

So, what’s it all about, the role:

  • You’ll provide a hassle-free experience whilst guiding and assisting customers through the process and converting appointments into purchases
  • You’ll be trained on our effective vehicle appraisal process, to allow you to confidently appraise a customer’s vehicle upon appointment, this will involve thorough inspection of the vehicle
  • You’ll enjoy and be confident on the phone talking to our customers and enjoy working towards and exceeding targets that give you the opportunity to earn more!
  • You’ll conduct thorough vehicle appraisals, liaising with our head office buying teams to gain accurate valuations before presenting this to the customer
  • You’ll maintain customer records, complete purchase paperwork and ensure vehicles are brought into stock correctly using our DMS (Dealership Management System)
  • You’ll be self-motivated and build effective relationships internally and externally to support the performance of your pod

  • You’ll have the drive and passion to succeed in a fast-paced role and industry
  • You’ll be a self-starter who has the ability to work with minimal supervision and be accountable for their own performance
