The Role
The business is growing, and we are in need of an administration & customer service superstar to support the Operations Manager and Financial Administrator. As Customer Sales Advisor, you will handle enquiries, payments, and requests across 4 business sectors (self-storage, business park, shop and campsite).
You will day to day manage the shop, campsite, and tenancy software programmes; to ensure there smooth running. This will require managing 100 plus tenant profiles, including organising new lease documents, maintenance requests and raising customer invoices. Overseeing all campsite bookings (with the majority being made online); including, confirming bookings, liaising with guests, and ensuring all pre-arrival tasks are complete. Full training will be given in the respective software systems.
The role will also involve working in the shop and campsite between April – September: serving customers, cleaning campsite facilities, welcoming people to the Estate, making sandwiches and hot beverages.
Hours for the role will change depending on the time of year. Monday – Friday 8.30am – 5pm between October and March. Rota between April and September, including working some evenings, weekends, and bank holidays, on a rotation.
About You
The Customer Sales Advisor will have
- Excellent IT and administrative skills; strong skills using Microsoft Word, Excel and confidence in learning new software. Prior experience on reservation or management software a bonus.
- Excellent communication skills; happy to talk to a wide range of people on the phone, in person and over email.
- Works well within a small team and enjoys collaboration whilst also self-motivated and confident to manage their workload.
- You enjoy working across a wide range of tasks, and happy to get stuck into all areas of the business; business park, self-storage, campsite, and shop.
- Excellent, time management, organisational skills.
About Us
Pineapple Estate is a family run business in the heart of West Dorset. The farm has been in our family for over 100 years, with the history being based predominantly in dairy farming. In the recent decades Pineapple Estate has transformed into a multifaceted enterprise consisting of; business park, self-storage site, campsite, shop and residential rentals.

We are continuously learning and changing to better support the local community, ecology, and economy; influencing the stock in our shop, our land management techniques and the local businesses which work in the business park. We are committed to lowering our environmental footprint with our renewable energy sources and rejuvenated way of managing the land. We have numerous footpaths across the Estate and are currently working on a farm nature walk, to give the public more access to the countryside.
We are a small team of 6, who care deeply about our work and the success of everyone who is part of the Estate, from campers to tenants. Summer is our busiest time, as the campsite is open from April – October.
We offer 28 days holiday per annum, including bank holidays, and shops items at cost.
- Experience in hospitality and stock management is a bonus.
