About the Role

We are a public sector owned professional buying organisation with ambitious plans for the future. ESPO is owned by a consortium of six local authorities and the surplus we make is returned to them to invest back into front line public services. We are looking for a Customer Relationship Advisor to support in developing and fostering relationships with new and existing customers. The successful candidate will help enhance customer awareness and increasing usage of the team’s frameworks as well as acting as the primary contact for enquiries from customers, suppliers and colleagues.

About You

To apply for this post, you must:

  • Have experience of working in a customer service/sales environment
  • Have an appreciation of customer service and best practice principals of working in a customer-focused environment
  • Have experience of handling customer enquiries on the phone and by email
  • Have excellent communication skills with a good standard of oral and written English language
  • Be able to work with large amounts of data to produce analysis and reports
  • Ideally have experience of public sector procurement and able to provide introductory information & support to customers

We’d also expect you to share our commitment to our valuesand will ask you to evidence when you have demonstrated them as part of the interview process.
