Admissions & Student Services Assistant

The College operates across two closely located campuses, next to the University of Leicester on University Road and a smaller campus at Regent Road.
We are looking to appoint a well-qualified, self-motivated and enthusiastic Admissions and Student Services Assistant to join our Communications and Administration team. The successful applicant will ideally have experience of working within an administrative capacity and the ability to work in a friendly and professional manner as much of the work will be student facing. The postholder will contribute to the provision of information, advice and support for individual students and student activities and support the processes for applications, admission and enrolment.
Communications and Administration Team
The Communications and Administration Team works across our University Road and Regent Road campuses and has responsibility for the following broad areas:
- Marketing and Admissions
- Student Services, including advice and administration of bursaries, support for student groups and events
- Print Services
- Corporate Services – including the provision of administrative support for the senior team, support for Governance, organisation and support other internal and external committees and meetings and support for key College events such as Prize Giving and parents consultation events
- Curriculum and Guidance Administration
- Reception Services
- Internal Communication including information to staff and students and organisation and management of the staff intranet.

This is a permanent, part time (25 hours per week) term time only post commencing as soon as possible
The salary will be on the Sixth Form Colleges’ Support Staff pay scale 3 – 6 which ranges from £20,173 to £20,981 per annum pro-rata. The actual starting salary for this role is £11,821.
