Job description

The Role:
Your primary role will be to work in the yard outside, this is where all of our materials are stored. As a Yard Apprentice, you will be responsible for maintaining our high standards, making sure the yard is kept tidy, clean, and most importantly - safe. You will build great relationships with our customers, most of whom you’ll see regularly and be on first name terms with. You will help our customers find materials, provide advice and help them load their vehicles.
As part of this 12 month apprenticeship programme, you will gain a Level 2 Apprenticeship in Customer Service which is the equivalent of 5 GCSE passes. All of your learning is “on the job”, Travis Perkins and Keyline values a work-life balance and there is no need for you to complete any of your work “out of hours”. The course consists of a number of modules and you will have a dedicated coach that will guide you throughout, as well as being supported by your line manager.
This role is 80% work base and 20% learning which is all completed within the working hours! No cutting into your social time!
