SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
Join our team in Worcester as an Optical Advisor ('optical speak' for a Customer Service Assistant!) you’ll discover why at Specsavers, we pride ourselves on providing the foundation for exciting, long-term careers.
The Optical Advisor role is varied.
You’ll make sure every customer feels welcomed into our store & gets a great experience!
Duties can range from (but are not limited to) dispensing / fitting glasses, booking appointments, repairing glasses, pre-screening of sight test patients & teaching them to handle contact lenses. You’ll also work to NHS guidelines (as well as our own high standards) & give good, clear advice thanks to your friendly, enthusiastic approach.
We’ll help you to develop & expand your knowledge of vision care & the optical solutions available to meet our patients needs in our bustling city centre store.
If you’re already naturally good with people, have an organised approach, like to stay busy & are always happy to help, you’ll fit right in as a valuable member of our friendly store team!
NO previous optical experience is necessary, we'll teach you the optics bit!
The store is open seven days a week therefore expect to work a weekend day most weekends but we do endeavour to give you a full weekend off from time to time!
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 15-37.5 per week
Salary: £22,000.00 per year
