Job description

Our client is looking for an Administrator to join their team as a Service Administrator / Service Advisor on a temporary to permanent basis.

This will suit anyone with Administration experience that is used to being on the phone to customers. Previous job title examples: Sales Administrator / Admin Assistant / Data Entry Clerk / Customer Service Advisor / Sales Order Processor / Customer Service Administrator.

Your job will be to work alongside the service team generating service repair quotations for customers. This will involve identifying and sourcing parts prices, creating quotes, sending to customers and following up for a P.O. Additionally you will support the service desk team as and when required during holidays and busy periods.

Duties:

  • Provide professional support via admin, email and telephone as and where required throughout the service department as requested.
  • Generate additional service revenue via obtaining orders for repairs to vehicles.
  • Identify, liaise and provide parts information for the purpose of preparing quotes.
  • Work closely with both service and parts teams to identify and price up repair quotations.
  • Provide service desk cover as and when required (Additional training will be provided to offer service support via the service desk team).
  • Liaise with suppliers for prices, book work for third party engineers and maintain/build relationships.
  • Communication within internal departments; service desk, engineers, parts and customers.
  • Other ad-hoc duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in an Administrator role where Customer Service is also required.
  • Confident and self-motivated, with a willingness to help other teams as required.
  • A good telephone manner (as this is a key part of the role, keeping everyone informed and updated).
  • I.T competency with emails, spreadsheets, and general in-house databases.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Temp to perm

Salary: £21,930.00 per year
