About the Job
Your role as Customer Support Specialist will support event planners (clients) and suppliers all over the UK throughout every stage of the planning process. As a Support Specialist you will solve problems professionally and efficiently, whilst having a little fun along the way. As well as problem-solving, you will be inspiring and empowering clients with the confidence that their party vision will come to life through your knowledge and expertise. You will also be a point of call for our event suppliers who need help with clients, their bookings and managing their account to ensure their small business reaches their maximum potential for success on Poptop.
Day to day tasks will primarily be inbound customer service focused. The core of your tasks will be dealing with inbound tickets through our main support channels: calls, emails and social media. As well as this, you will navigate through CRM tasks such as client and supplier outreach to improve conversions, reporting vital user feedback and becoming a subject-matter expert on everything and anything to do with our customers.

You will come in to help build the foundations and shape the future of our Support Department with Laurel (Customer Support Manager). Who You Are
Essential:
- Previous Customer Service Experience (2 years minimum)
- Previous Call Handling Experience (2 years minimum)
- Fluent in English written and verbal communication
- Min 6 GCSE's or equivalent level qualifications
Preferred:
- Previous Leadership or Supervisory Role experience
- Previously worked within the Events Industry or within a Startup Company
- Previously embraced remote work, capable of working independently and self-motivated
- Possess willingness to identify selling, upselling and cross-selling to clients
