Job description

We are looking to hire a Customer Insights Summer Intern to help us build our understanding of our customers and their experience with MANUAL in order to inform strategic decision-making across the business. You will work with us for 6 weeks during July / August 2023 and will report to the Head of Customer Insights.


This is an ideal role for someone who wants to gain work experience in one of the most promising start-ups in the health and wellness space, and who wants to learn more about the journey to become a customer-centric company. If you like data analytics combined with strategic thinking, and would like the challenge of finding ways to have a real impact across the business, this role is for you!


RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Conduct data-driven deep dive analysis on customer data (e.g., surveys, AB tests) to identify trends and patterns in customer behaviour

  • Document learnings from past surveys and tests in a structured and concise manner

  • Participate in the identification and documentation of customer insights

  • Communicate insights to stakeholders in a clear and concise way

  • Learn about the customer journey and how to improve customer experience

  • Create dashboards to enable different MANUAL teams to visualise data and find new improvement opportunities

  • Help to develop and execute customer research projects

  • Enrolled or completed an undergraduate or graduate degree in a related field (e.g., business, marketing, psychology, medical)

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Experience with data analysis in Excel and other data software (e.g., R, SQL, Python)

  • Ability to build dashboards using Looker

  • Ability to quickly process and comprehend information from a variety of sources and extract important learnings in a clear and concise summary

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Interest in customer behaviour and psychology
