Brightlingsea (Essex)
£25K + Bonus
Full Time / Permanent
Monday-Friday
Working 1-5 Saturday mornings on rota
Our client continue to be the leading waste management business in Essex. Their range of waste management, clearance and hire services ensure they support our diverse range of customers at the very heart of Essex.
They are seeking a Customer Service Advisor to join their friendly well-establish team based in Brightlingsea on a full time permanent basis.
As part of the call centre sales team based at Brightlingsea, you will be the first point of contact for customers, handling queries, providing support and comprehensive product / service information, building relationships with customers and identifying opportunities to enhance the customer experience. You will assist customers in their purchasing decisions and look for cross-selling opportunities in line with all Company requirements to maximise sales and deliver the highest levels of customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responding to customer queries and complaints in an efficient and professional manner
- Escalating customer issues with management when the need arises
- Managing all skips through the hire cycle, ensuring that skips are delivered and returned on time including the capture of all extras that attract additional charges at the point of sale.
- Following up on customer calls to ensure that that customers are satisfied
- Staying up to date regarding a company’s products, services and policies by attending training sessions
- Ensuring that they accurately comprehend clients’ requests and issues by confirming and clarifying information
- Upselling products and services where possible and actively working towards reaching sales targets
- Maintaining accurate customer records in a company’s customer relationship management (CRM) system and completing call logs and reports
Skills & Experience:
- good interpersonal skills to establish a positive rapport with clients
- Excellent customer service skills to ensure that customers receive satisfactory service
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to correctly identify issues and determine the most effective solutions
- IT literacy, including a working knowledge of relevant software programs, such as MS Office and a CRM system
- Ability to remain calm and polite when dealing with unsatisfied clients
- Stamina to handle high volumes of calls and consistently provide excellent service
- Good geographical knowledge of the Essex region.
