This exciting role will enable you to further develop your financial analysis, relationship building and presentation skills, while providing guidance and key insights to the Technology and CNO leadership team, key decision makers, and the finance management team. Your key contributions will help to ensure our financial Opex and Capex targets are achieved

Main responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for month end accounting and reporting activities across Network teams, including various journals, variance commentary, and completion of monthly finance management packs.
  • Key support contract reviews with business owners, which is vital in ensuring all accrual and prepayment journals and schedules are accurately maintained.
  • Network budgeting and quarterly forecasting, ensuring a detailed understanding of the cost drivers and full year variances, communicated to a range of stakeholders.
  • Primary contact on all Opex queries for key business areas such as Core Network, RAN Network delivery and Transmission teams within CNO.
  • Assist in completion of Network 5 Year Opex plan build with drivers and key movement analysis.
  • Headcount responsibility for planning, forecasting and reporting with the Network business teams, and identifying capitalisation opportunities within key projects and programmes.
  • Balance sheet movement and analysis monthly across Core, RAN and Transmission.
  • Identification and management of Opex opportunities and risks, clearly communicating and escalating where required to business owners and finance line management.
  • Building and maintaining key relationships with Network business owners, vendor managers, finance teams and cross-functional teams.
  • Responsible for various ad-hoc financial cost benefit analysis, business case support, opex risk analysis etc when required.
  • Reflecting business change and ensuring continuous improvement in finance processes and reporting.
