We have some fantastic opportunities that have come up for co-worker roles in our Customer Relations team based at our Bristol store.
We are offering a full-time (39 hours a week) contract, and part-time contracts.
WHAT WE OFFER
- Living Wage Foundation Employer (£10.90 basic hourly rate).
- We operate 7 days a week, and there is an expectation that you are able to work evening and weekend shifts at times that work for you.
- We will do our best to accommodate your availability, and have various contract sizes on offer, and this can be discussed at interview.
- For our full-time contract, there is an expectation that you can work every second weekend.
- For our part-time contracts, there is an expectation that you can work 3 in 4 weekends.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE
We are looking for someone who is confident in approaching customers and treats them in a polite and friendly manner. The ideal candidate will have a passion for people, an eagerness to learn and will embrace change with a solution-orientated approach.
For this role, you will be working in Returns and After Sales, and so you will be able to act in a calm and professional manner, especially at challenging times. You will have emotional resilience and work through the IKEA Values.
At least 6 months of experience in a customer-facing role is desirable for this role.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
This role is varied with no two days being the same. We have options in our Customer Checkouts and also Returns and After-Sales. You will aim to create a positive experience for our customers, so they will want to return and shop with us again over time.
- You provide an efficient and accurate shopping experience in various areas of the store.
- You ensure that payments are handled in a reliable, efficient, accurate and friendly way.
- You build loyalty by ensuring customers have an exceptional shopping experience.
- You will look after our Click and Collect service by checking orders are accurately picked and delivering goods to customers in the car park.
- You will work with and resolve any customer product returns or exchanges, and provide after sales support.
