Job description

It's an exciting time to join HSS, as we move into our next phase of growth, we have an opportunity for a Customer Advisor in our Branch to join us in our Kilburn store. With a variety of products across all sectors to offer our customers, a forward-thinking culture, what better time to join a dynamic organisation!

If you are experienced in Sales / Customer focused roles, or managing a store of any type - we are interested in speaking to you.

This is a Monday to Friday role, with an additional Saturday morning. In return for the Saturday morning hours, you will receive one day each fortnight off as your working pattern.

As Customer Advisor you will take responsibility for:

  • Day to day running of the concession​​​​​​
  • Delivering unrivalled customer service to all
  • Drive sales initiatives - building strong relationships with customers, helping them to plan their future orders with us

What do you bring?

The successful candidate will have:

  • A proven track records in a sales/retail orientated profession (A background in construction or tool/plant hire is not a necessity!)
  • A sales focused mind set – striving to go above and beyond for our customers, having conversations in and around the store to drive sales
  • A proactive nature – as you’ll be the representative for HSS on site you’ll be focused on hitting the store targets
  • Great communication skills – you’ll have conversations with customers and potential customers in the merchants – so you’ll be outgoing and comfortable starting conversations
