Job description

Huntswood is looking for experienced call handlers, ideally with experience in Financial Services, to support a leading UK retail bank.

Starting date Monday 4th September, you will be supporting our client by taking inbound calls from customers regarding fraud alerts with their banking products.

You will be providing an excellent level of customer service by meeting customers' needs and making their call journey as easy and smooth as possible.

As a call handler you will be working from home and paid a day rate of £130 a day on an initial 6 months temp to perm contract.

Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week
You will work on a rotational shift basis between 8.45am - 8pm Monday - Friday, 8.45am-6.30pm on Saturdays.
Flexibility is required, no Sunday working.

You will need to be available to work in the office 2 times a week.
Training will be provided on a hybrid working model and your first three weeks live in the role will be fully site based.

The ideal Call Handler candidate will have:

  • Experience working in a telephony-based customer service role
  • Experience within financial services would be desirable
  • Excellent communications skills and the ability to talk to all types of customers
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to navigate through several in-house databases
  • Good MS Office skills, particularly MS Word
