Job Scope and ob jectives

To support the Branch Manager in the day to day operations and development of the Pirelli Performance Centre (PPC), ensuring excellent customer service levels and Pirelli quality standards are achieved.

Role responsibilities

FUNCTIONAL

To assume a hands-on role within the PPC, facilitating the day to day operations both front of house & behind the scenes. The first

port of call for a diverse group of clients, ensuring a professional service, whilst offering expertise and advice on Pirelli products to

all customers entering the PPC. Other areas of responsibility will include:

Helping to ensure sales opportunities are maximized

Ensuring all PPC quality standards are maintained and recorded.

Hosting both Pirelli training courses and conducting facility tours for VIP visitors.

Supporting with the production and analysis of reports relating to PPC performance.

Various administration duties in support of the PPC Manager

Flexibility within the department to carry out any duties that may be required.

Supporting with the training and coaching of other team members for customer service related activities

Assisting with a share of the centre’s housekeeping duties

Ensuring the H&S of self and others within the PPC

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND APTITUDES

Education

Basic Maths and English

IOSH Working Safely, or equivalent

Experience

Tyre fitting experience & fast-fit/ automotive retail environment advantageous

Customer service experience essential

Skills

First class customer service skills & telephone manner

Excellent organisation skills

Basic financial and commercial awareness

Good IT skills, to include Excel. SAP knowledge advantageous

H&S knowledge and awareness

Be prepared to work on all tasks within the department.

Team player, able to enthuse, support and help others, with a flexible approach.

Adaptable and willing to embrace change and learn new skills.

Be proactive and work on own initiative

Salary for this role will be £20500 - £22k depending upon skills, qualification and experience.

Hours of work are 37.5 per week, Monday - Saturday. The role will involve working 2 Saturdays a month, with time off during the week
