HPE Customer Innovation Centres are strategic sales assets that provide clients, partners and account teams the opportunity to explore a customer’s strategic business initiatives and learn how Hewlett Packard Enterprise is uniquely positioned to deliver business outcomes aligned to their industry and enterprise.
As a Customer Engagement Advisor, you are responsible for the success of in-person and virtual customer and partner engagements. Your responsibilities include timeline management, understanding stakeholder and customer expectations, communications between sales and executive teams, and the day-of engagement execution.
This role is highly visible and requires the skills and experience to interact with HPE sales, executive, partners and customer leadership teams. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with excellent project management and analytical skills, you will be comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously with little supervision. The candidate must be highly organized, be able to both follow and establish processes, be collaborative and able to make decisions and communicate effectively with executive stakeholders.
In a typical day as a Customer Engagement Advisor, you will…
- Understand the customer’s business objectives and develop a unique engagement that will address business challenges with the goal to enable growth and further adoption of products and services offered by Hewlett Packard Enterprise.
- Work with internal sales stakeholders to provide strategic guidance designed to meet customer’s expectations
- Work closely with fellow engagement advisors to exchange industry knowledge and strategies.
- Lead the planning process with Account Teams to determine engagement objectives and sales opportunities
- Develop engagement agendas. This requires creativity, high-level knowledge of products and solutions that HPE offers, and a good grasp of the selling process
- Source speakers. Leveraging a strong understanding of who presents on what, to whom, and how well, identify and source the best speakers for your audience, account, opportunity, and sales/customer objectives
- Lead discussion leader pre-engagement calls
- Recommend additional engagement offerings as appropriate (tours, demos, customer references, etc)
- Facilitate and moderate customer and partner engagements
- Summarize the “Voice of the Customer” session
- Summarize and close-out engagements with Account Team
- Provide feedback with post- briefing analysis of insights and opportunities for improvement.
