Customer Care Co-Ordinator

£21,977.85 (full time equivalent)

22.5 hours per week

Permanent contract

Location: Harrogate (office based)

We have an exciting opportunity for an administrator to join our Supporter Care Team to provide excellent customer service to our supporters and input information into our supporter database. If you do not have experience in all elements of the role, please do not worry as there may be transferable skills you can draw on from your current or past employment and/or other experience. For example, you may come from a hotel or event coordinator position, looking for an opportunity to build strong relationships with supporters.

THE ROLE:

Reporting to the Supporter Care Manager, the Customer Care Co-Ordinator (known internally as Supporter Care Advisor) will be the first point of contact for all supporter enquiries. The Customer Care Co-Ordinator will

· Input and reconcile all fundraising donations onto the database

· send personalised thank you letters and make thank you calls to strengthen relationships with supporters

· provide excellent customer service by responding to enquiries sensitively and in a timely manner

· ensure the database is kept up to date and accurate

The successful candidate will:

· Have excellent attention to detail and organisation skills

· Be comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite

· Be comfortable inputting data into a database

· Have excellent customer service skills and a confident telephone manner

· Be able to respond sensitively to emotive conversations
