About The Role
As a Customer Advisor you will help to identify, process and recover costs of attending our members following a road traffic accident. You will be offering advice and support to our members through the recovery process whilst speaking with insurance companies on a regular basis chasing up progress of the case.
You will also be providing quality customer service and support to our stand-alone legal expense insurance policyholders, dealing with a variety of queries from address changes to policy sales, renewals and cancellations.
The shift requirements will fall within our opening hours of Monday – Friday 08.00 – 17.00, 35 hours per week with no weekend or bank holiday working.
This role will require you to work from our iconic Bristol office situated in Bradley Stoke and there is the option for hybrid working, allowing the flexibility to work from home for a set number of days a week.
To succeed in the role, RAC are looking for Customer Advisors who:
- Are empathetic and able to build rapport with our members, with an outgoing, self-motivated and friendly personality.
- Are comfortable at overcoming objections
- Ideally have previous experience working within a regulated environment or in customer service environment
- Can demonstrate the ability to use own initiative when required
- Can work within a close team to achieve targets
- Can confidently use MS packages and other IT platforms to performance a given task
- Can demonstrate the ability to follow direction and retain information in a team working environment
