Job description

Care Trusters are seeking Healthcare Assistants to support our services in the Southend on sea area with clients who are elderly and may have dementia. We can offer a competitive salary between £13.00 - £15.00 per hour, depending on experience.

What we require

• On going e-learning provided
• 1 year experience in healthcare
• Experience working with complex care would be an advantage
• Excellent communication skills
• Caring, compassionate and can-do attitude
• Ability to commit to regular shifts
• Enhanced DBS certificate
• Have Right to Work in UK

Shifts pattern

• Part time
• Full time
• Early & late shifts
• Night shifts

Duties for this role may include

• Providing support also assistance to clients including washing, cleaning and toileting
• Personal care including infection prevention and control, food, personal hygiene and overall reassurance, comfort and safety
• Observing, monitoring and recording patients conditions
• Moving and handling
• Prompting and administering medication (not essential)
