Job Title: Customer Advisor
Location: Remote
Salary: £21,316.05
Contract: Full-time, permanent
Hours: 36.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday shifts between 9am and 6pm

This is the job
As a Customer Advisor, you will be responsible for taking inbound calls from members and garages with AA parts and garage cover. You’ll take around 30 calls per day which may include logging new claims for vehicles and payment queries. As the first point of contact we stay empathetic, professional, and put our customers first to provide a professional claims service.
This is an exciting opportunity where you can work from home to support our customers. All the training and support you need to succeed will be given to you virtually. You’ll need a suitable working environment including your own desk and chair, a quiet space and a strong internet connection and we’ll provide the equipment you need ready for when you start.

What will I be doing?
- Log and distribute faxes, emails and post for claims using systems provided ensuring that responses are issued within agreed service levels
- To effectively process the payment of claims agreed by Technical Advisors.
- Maintain full understanding of the claims products and AA products to provide the best customer service
- Maintain and update knowledge of claims processes
- Maintain excellent service levels and maximise the use of technology
- Undertake any other tasks requested by line management
- Support Claims assistants by taking inbound calls when required to maintain the department service level
- Preferably experience of working in a regulated telesales environment, taking care adhere to relevant FCA guidelines on language and script where required
- Demonstrable experience working with proprietary IT systems

- Experience in a similar role with proven customer service experience
- Experience building rapport
