Overview of role
The Human Resources division are looking for a technically skilled Analyst to join their HR Systems team to complete configuration on our global HR System (Workday). The HR Systems team is responsible for all HR systems in use by the group and support the HR teams globally by implementing new modules, improving existing features and supporting the overall Workday platform.
This role requires a technical individual, ideally with experience of working in a HR systems team or for HR via an IT role. Good communication is key and strong relationship building skills are required to manage stakeholders across the various businesses and HR.
This is primarily a Workday analyst role and whilst there is a separate team of Business Analysts who work on Workday projects the successful candidate will be expected to complete some Business Analysis with HR users to source requirements on small specific tasks (e.g. a new Workday Report).
The successful candidate will be service oriented, able to demonstrate technical aptitude, attention to detail and enthusiasm for delivering high quality analytical work as well as a pro-active ability to work independently to a high standard.
They will be part of a successful team delivering HR processes & enabling the adoption of Workday to both HR and Business users.
Responsibilities
  • Day-to-day support of Workday
  • Support HR with the creation of new reports / changes to existing reports
  • Fulfilling data requests for Workday and other HR data sources
  • Work as part of the HR Systems team to implement new Workday features
  • Complete reorganisations of the business teams
  • Support for the bi-annual Workday upgrades
  • Liaise closely with the HR Business Analyst team who will gather the requirements for Workday changes
  • Work directly with HR and business users to complete business analysis work on small changes
Experience, Skills and Competencies Required
  • A technical background either in software development or system configuration
  • Experience of working on data management and support tasks
  • Strong data analysis skills essential as the role will involve being part of a team looking at HR data (which will predominantly come from Workday)
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Experience managing and delivering reports, reporting dashboards or similar
  • Experience of Workday (or similar HR systems platforms like Success Factors) would be a benefit
  • Capable of working independently and possessing sound judgment to escalate matters to management where appropriate
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced organisation with demanding stakeholders in multiple locations across the globe
  • Delivery focused with the primary aim to deliver great software to our customers whilst having the ability to work under pressure on multiple deliverables with differing timeframes, priorities and solutions
  • Highly motivated individual ready to overcome barriers and obstacles to reach their goals
  • Proven verbal and written communication skills
  • Build and develop strong client relationships
