Costello is a Good school with Outstanding features – Ofsted, Nov 2021
The Costello School, situated in Basingstoke, North Hampshire, is looking to appoint two enthusiastic and highly motivated Technicians to work across our Arts and Technology faculties. Owing to an increase in student numbers, we now have an opportunity for another exceptional individual to join our amazing team of Technicians. You will assist the subject teachers in the co-ordination and the use of practical resources and facilities, providing assistance and advice in meeting the practical needs of the Art, Design Technologies, and Food and Nutrition faculties.
Our recent Ofsted inspection judged us as Good with Outstanding features, and said that ‘ Leaders, teachers and support staff work together as a tight-knit team to meet these pupils’ pastoral and academic needs very well. Good relationships between staff and pupils ensure typically calm, respectful behaviour across the school. Pupils enjoy school and feel happy and proud to be here.’
Ideally you would have some existing knowledge appropriate to all or any of these subject areas, including food hygiene qualifications, but a passion for education and working with young people is far more important – a dedicated programme of training and professional development will be provided.
Are you able to:
- Inspire and innovate?
- Nurture and develop (yourself as well as others)?
- Commit to, and raise further, high achievement and motivation?
- Optimise learning for all?
