Role purpose
As a Curriculum Designer, you will design the learning content of our Edurino games. You will not only have the opportunity to design curricula on general school topics like "First Reading & Writing", but also on future skills like "Logical Thinking & Coding". You are an important part of the process (alongside Game Designers, Artists, and Developers) in which educational content is transformed into a series of exciting learning adventures with mini-games. Your knowledge and expertise on child development and learning pedagogy, as well as your creativity and problem-solving skills, will be the foundation in creating a successful learning experience for children.

Your mission at EDURINO

  • Designing curricula for classical school competencies and 21st century skills

  • Planning and adapting learning content into child-friendly learning bites that can be delivered in mini-games

  • Monitoring the designed episode throughout the development process (feedback loops, learning effectiveness, difficulty levels)

  • Work closely with the game design team and the entire product team

  • Prototype and game testing in school sites and in home testing.

  • ...studied early childhood or elementary education or have trained as an educator and/or have a background in children's education or a related field

  • ...have deep knowledge and experience working with educational plans, curriculum, and sequencing.

  • ...have experience and enjoy working with children.

  • ...have knowledge of the children's EdTech industry and the British educational landscape. Other International educational curricula are a plus.

  • ...value an independent approach to work, yet enjoy working collaboratively as part of a team.

  • ...have excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English (written and spoken).

How to become part of the team

  • We look forward to receiving your application (CV is enough!). Once we have reviewed it and decide to invite you, we schedule a first 30-minute interview where we get to know each other. After our company presentation, you will have the space to tell us why you would be the perfect fit for us and we are happy to answer all of your questions.
  • Depending on the position, there is now a small homework for you - either an art/coding test or the elaboration of some questions within a case study.
  • We schedule another interview with the direct report of your position. You will elaborate the task or questions you have solved.
  • You (e-)meet one of the co-founders. Depending of the position, we will now ask you for some references.
  • After a couple of days, we will get back to you with the final decision and you become part of #teamedurino, yay!
  • The following onboarding steps include meetings with your onboarding buddy and your team members, getting to know everyone from both our business and tech team and of course receiving your EDURINO onboarding box!
