GSK Graduate Scheme – Ware Global Supply Chain Site

Technical Development Programme (TDP); developing leaders and experts for the future

GSK’s Ware manufacturing and supply site holds a unique position in our network as the only site responsible for launching the company’s pipeline of new Respiratory or Oral Solid Dose medicines. By using modern equipment, digital processes, efficient ways of working, and technology we deliver life-changing and life-saving products for patients in over 100 countries across the world. With around 1,200 employees on the site, including a large community of early talent, the scheme provides a great network of expertise to mentor and support graduates along with a good range of social opportunities. The site has good access to London and Cambridge via rail links, as well as the beautiful Hertfordshire countryside.

The Ware TDP is a 3½ year graduate scheme targeted at the highest calibre of graduates. The successful applicants will be based at the GSK Ware Manufacturing Site for the duration of the programme, where they will gain experience across key site workstreams.

This is a fantastic opportunity, which will provide a breadth of knowledge and experience in the graduate’s chosen field to enable the accelerated development of strong future careers within GSK. Each graduate will have the chance to work in three different roles during the duration of the scheme; the rotations are tailored according to discipline with the aim of meeting each graduate’s aspirations, strengths, and ambitions (along with the needs of the business), with reward and succession aligned to development at every stage.

Can you help us to develop, produce, and supply medicines to the people who need them most?

If so, don’t delay – apply today!

About You:

We are looking for dynamic and highly-motivated graduates with degrees in Mechanical, Automation, and Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, and Pharmacy. The TDP scheme would suit motivated applicants who have a strong desire to begin their working careers in a complex GMP environment, and who naturally demonstrate GSK values along with the potential to be a great leader or subject matter expert. We seek graduates who have strong interpersonal skills and a positive approach, with the ability to listen and learn, and the desire to make a real difference to people’s lives through high quality work.

To apply:

The next Ware TDP cohort will start in September 2024 so we are happy to accept applications now from anyone graduating in 2023 or in 2024. Interviews and assessments will be held in September 2023. To apply for this grad scheme, please provide your CV in your online application.

CLOSING DATE for applications - Monday 19th June 2023 (close of business).

Please Note:

Depending on the roles (rotations) worked during the programme, some shift working may be required, which could include Night Shifts. The site operates 24 hours a day, 7 days of the week.
