What does the role involve?
Reporting to our Group Credit Portfolio Manager, we have an exciting opportunity for a Credit Risk MI Analyst to join our team. In this role, you'll work on reporting requirements by gathering data and producing packs that summarise activity effectively for different purposes and audiences.
You'll also attend a range of different meetings that will help to build your knowledge of Novuna by giving you a bird's eye view of what's going on in the company from a credit risk perspective and exposure to how key decisions are made.
You'll work on a hybrid basis, where your time will be split between working from home and collaborating with our people in the office. This role can be based from our offices in Staines or Leeds.
Some of your key duties will include:
- Producing reporting packs which summarises pivotal information clearly and concisely to our stakeholders
- Drawing out key information and data for relevant reports and translating to a presentable format
- Analysing and evaluating the data to help tell the story and enable data-driven decision making across the Novuna
- Collaborating with stakeholders at all levels and attending relevant meetings
What are we looking for?
You'll enjoy working with a wide array of data and producing reports. You don't need to have come from a Credit Risk background, we're looking for candidates who have strong data analytical skills and a desire to learn.
Also, we're looking for the following:
- Good proficiency of MS Office Suite (Powerpoint, Excel, Outlook, Word). Some knowledge of PowerBI may be an advantage, but you'll be given training to learn the tool so it is not an essential requirement
- Highly skilled in using data to draw insights and conclusion
- Strong report writing skills with the ability to pull out key messages in a clear and presentable format
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and cooperate with a range of stakeholders
