About Our Client
My client is a leading eye wear company based in Central London. They have stores across across Europe and in the US.
Due to recent changes in the team they are looking for a new Credit Controller to join their company in their London offices.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 3-5 years experience in Credit Control.
Job Description
Credit Controller, London
- Chasing overdue payments by phone and/or email
- Allocating payments by BACS, DD, CHQ and credit card in multi-currencies
- Monitoring the level of orders on hold and resolve related customer issues
- Meeting and/or exceeding monthly overdue targets
- Maintaining regular communication with the sales force and customer services for information sharing
- Processing new applications based on results of credit investigations
- Preparing customer letters and statements
- Preparing the monthly Direct Debit proposal
- Reconciling customer accounts and resolve related issues
- Analyzing and preparing a financial / commercial case for credit limit requests using the appropriate form
- Reviewing, revising, and implementing best practice procedures within the department and recommending
- Assuring debt recovery follow ups
- Ad hoc reporting
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate would ideally have retail / eye wear experience.
They must also have 3 years experience in Credit Control
What's on Offer
The successful candidate will be paid £32,000 - £35,000 depending on experience.
