What does the role involve?
We have an exciting new role that has come up within our team in Telford. The Credit Manager will be responsible for leading the Credit Control function with the aim of providing outstanding collections service to our clients balanced with excellent risk controls and the active management of security of our disclosed facilities
In addition you'll also be required to:
- Line management of 2 direct reports and a wider team of approximately 12
- Improve Profitability - Producing analysis and performance reports to the wider business, including Heads of Operations, Relationship Management and Risk
- Ownership of Credit Control team targets, including deliver on agreed priorities whilst creating KPI'S and SLA's in effective processes and controls
- Retain existing customers and develop new customers whilst maintaining business portfolio quality
- Implementing new processes to improve debtor book performance balanced with client satisfaction
- To undertake any other duties as specified from time to time in accordance with Novuna's business requirements
What are we looking for?
Previous experience within credit control or credit management, in Invoice Finance would be ideal, however not mandatory. You should strive to deliver good customer service to everyone you engage with, and have proven line management experience.
- CICM qualified or equivalent (preferred)
- Strong leadership skills, able to shape, mentor and motivate
- Experience as a credit manager in a similar capacity
- Experience of process improvement and automation
