Title: Credit Controller, Remote Working - Full Time, FTC

Salary: £25,500 Per Annum

Our client based in Brighton is seeking a Credit Controller to join their team on an FTC for 8-9 months. The successful candidate will be responsible for credit control duties, as well as providing general support to the Finance Manager. If you have an AAT qualification or qualified by experience and can start immediately, then we would love to hear from you!

Duties:

• Complete credit control duties
• General support and assistance to the accounts team as required by the Finance Manager
• Assist with the monthly debtors list adjusted for agreed credit terms
• Suspend agent's accounts for serious debtors (must liaise with Finance Manager and/or Director)
• Complete agent debt collection and agent credits for target related bonuses
• Issue discount credit notes each quarter
• Authorisation agent credit terms (must liaise with Finance Manager and/or Director)
• Chase direct student's debts (pre-arrival and within first 2 weeks or arrival)
• Internal re-invoicing
• Update annual price codes
• Process the company's entries and submit VAT returns

Requirements:

• Must be able to start immediately or within a short notice period (1 week)
• AAT qualification or qualified by experience
• Knowledge of Sage accounting software
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• High standard of numeracy and literacy
• Excellent organisation skills - well-organised with a proven ability to multitask
• Hardworking with excellent work ethic
• Ability to meet strict deadlines
• Strong IT skills (familiar with Microsoft Office, and Excel)
• Flexibility, a team player with the ability to work independently when required

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am-5.30pm

Working mostly remotely - only 2 days a month in the office in Brighton
