At the Credit Office, the Credit Controllers are responsible for ensuring that customer payments are dealt with promptly and accurately, queries resolved quickly and effectively, and relationships are maintained with both internal and external stakeholders.

Successful candidates will be required to complete a Personality Profile Analysis and General Intelligence Assessment prior to interview.
Key Accountabilities:
· Ad hoc duties such as collecting and opening post, filing etc
· Assist with the allocation of various forms of customer payments to credit/cash accounts
· Assist with the chasing of overdue debt by telephone and email as appropriate
· Assist with the resolution of invoice queries
· Assist with the production and maintenance of stopped accounts listings
· Recording of all actions and conversations in customer notes
· Assist with the creation and maintenance of files for each customer
· Taking payments over the telephone
Skills and Competencies:
· Capable of building relationships at all levels including with customers, branch staff, senior managers and colleagues
· Ability to work individually and as part of a team is essential
· Competent working with the Microsoft Office suite
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Good numeracy skills
· Calm and confident manner to handle potential contentious conversations that occasionally result from debt collection
· Ability to manage own work load effectively, accurately and efficientlyWe're looking for someone who is responsible, organised and has a keen eye for details.

Salary: £24,620.00-£26,094.00 per year
