Purpose of the Role

With exposure across all areas of our multi-faceted business, the Creative Artworker is the key support to ensuring our brand look and feel is consistently felt – whether it’s a new member campaign, new facility opening, in club signage, hotel room materials, in Club marketing or external prospect creative – it will be created by a designer with an eye for detail, consistency and a great grasp of our brand credentials.

The Creative Artworker is the fun loving creative, who enjoys developing the beautiful, branded designs that keeps the attention of our prospects and members – be that a smaller individual Club piece of content or a ‘full Club’ campaign. The Creative Artworker will have experience with design, layouts and typography. They’ll play a key role in keeping us fresh and relevant across all our digital and offline marketing and club content.

We’re looking for someone who can bring a consistent, premium finish to our designs and artwork. So, it’s important that you are creative and full of ideas, but you can also work with other creative individuals and companies. You’ll work fast to a plan – but can also help with the unplanned. You’ll demonstrate your creative proficiency, have knowledge of the digital landscape and be in tune with contemporary design for our audiences.

Overview of Job Tasks/Duties

  • Work with the creative agency to roll out designs across digital and print marketing channels.
  • Ensure designs are aligned to The Club Company’s creative and brand guidelines.
  • Support clubs with design requests.
  • Create templates and maintain inhouse design template tool Onbrand.
  • Keep digital signage up to date with current promotions and creative.
  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure print materials are delivered on time.
  • Attend weekly/monthly team meetings as scheduled.
  • To travel to clubs as required for business needs.
  • To represent the Marketing team to the highest personal and professional standards.

General

  • Be a positive ambassador for the Company’s CARE values at all times.
  • To always promote the Club’s reputation for exceptional standards of customer care and service.
  • To undertake any reasonable requests by line manager.
  • To comply with the provisions of the Company’s Health & Safety and Fire Policy & Procedures.

Education and/or Experience

  • At least 3+ years’ experience in a creative artworker or graphic design role.
  • Excellent level of verbal and written English.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft products, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Proactive.
  • Very specific attention to detail.
  • A good understanding of print production processes, colour management and printing across different materials, formats and finishes.
  • An excellent working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.

Qualifications and Special Requirements

  • A portfolio with commercially led digital and print work.
