The Role

The Role:
Our nationwide Lifting division hires a range of equipment including hoists, slings and winches to companies within the construction, utilities and infrastructure sectors.
As Workshop Fitter you will play a pivotal role in the success of the division. You will be responsible for servicing and maintaining Lifting Equipment to a high standard within the GAP fleet, ensuring that our customers can hire what they want, when they need it.
The Role:

As Workshop Fitter you will play a pivotal role in the success of the division. You will be responsible for servicing and maintaining Lifting Equipment to a high standard within the GAP fleet, ensuring that our customers can hire what they want, when they need it.
About You
Successful applicants should demonstrate the following:
- Proven experience working as an engineer/fitter with a relevant mechanical qualification or be time served
- Sound and current knowledge of servicing and maintaining lifting equipment is highly desirable
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to work effectively under pressure
- A customer-focussed approach and committed team player
