Job description
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Creative Artworker to join an expanding, well-established design agency in the heart of regency Cheltenham. This is a permanent, full-time role. Hybrid working, ideally 2 to 3 days a week in the office the remainder from home with other benefits to include - 25 days leave per year, life insurance and BUPA healthcare. They also offer a salary sacrifice cycle to work and electric vehicle schemes. The salary on offer ranges between £30,000 – £40,000 (dependent on experience).
The Company
The agency was set up almost 30 years ago and is part of a larger independent PR and communications group, that recently celebrated becoming a fully employee-owned business (similar to Waitrose)... as such, their future remains proudly independent and firmly in their hands.
They work in some of the most exciting sectors in the UK and work across multiple sectors, with a variety of brands (mostly B2B), with a particular focus on the built environment and racing and equestrian industries.

The studio is a relaxed and friendly place to work, with an experienced team of 18 people, delivering high-quality work across print, digital and social channels. Their retention of people is very impressive indeed.
The Role
The role would best suit a middleweight or more experienced candidate with between 5-10 years experience in a similar, agency environment.
The Creative Artworker’s responsibilities would predominately be centred around the production of accurate, high-quality final artwork for numerous print and digital projects. Anything from the small and creative one-offs to much larger and more corporate projects.
The successful applicant will need to be experienced in the application of design and demonstrate good typographic and layout skills. You will also be able to create and adapt existing designs, create accurate artwork using multiple assets and follow brand guidelines, for print, large format, and digital projects.
The role will require you to be super-proficient in the use of the Adobe Suite and know your way around InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. Any motion or video experience will be advantageous, but not essential.
About You
Ideally, you will be a middleweight or more experienced Creative Artworker, with a background of working in an agency environment and used to the demands of a busy studio.
The role requires for a flexible and creative problem solver, with a broad range of skills and an eye for detail. A ‘can-do’ person, who can actively support the Creative and Digital Directors, and happy to work collaboratively with all members of the team. You will be able to bring enthusiasm, knowledge, and experience to the role, and be prepared to share your knowledge and skills with colleagues to help further grow and develop the team.
You will be confident and professional, with a friendly manner and strong organisational and time management capabilities. Good ‘people skills’, for working with a range of colleagues and clients is essential.
