Temporary Covid-19 Vaccination Administrator /Meet and Greet Staff at Medicus Health Partners
Medicus Health Partners are looking for professional and enthusiastic administrators to support our Covid-19 vaccination programme, based at Carlton House Surgery. We are the largest Super Practice in Enfield, working in 12 locations and caring for over 93,000 patients. Our vaccination centre near Enfield Town is open to all and is one of the busiest and largest in London. Full training will be given and you will be part of a team who are passionate about healthcare.
You will be a key member of the vaccination team and will be based on site, either working together with a vaccinator to accurately record procedures or as a member of the meet and greet team, checking in patients and helping with queue management and queries.
Key duties include:
Pod Administrator
· Identify and verify patient details
· Manage and monitor booking diaries
· Use of web-based software to record vaccination information in a timely manner
· Support patients with information needed to consent to vaccination
· Ask non-clinical screening questions
· Understand basic eligibility rules
· Work in accordance with policies, ensuring that all work and procedures are undertaken in accordance with issued guidance
Meet and greet
· Check in patients with booked appointments using web-based software
· Manage separate walk-in allocations and lists
· Understand basic eligibility rules and act as the first line of enquiry for questions, escalating to senior staff where necessary
· Manage queues and help with patient flow around the building
· Assist staff with other duties such as ensuring pods are stocked with necessary equipment
· Work in accordance with policies, ensuring that all work and procedures are undertaken in accordance with issued guidance
Required skills
· Outstanding customer service skills and team player
· Excellent data entry and typing skills (MS Office Knowledge)
· Superior listening, verbal, and written communication skills
· Ability to handle stressful situations appropriately
Shifts are available on weekdays as either AM (8.45am – 1.30pm), PM (1.30pm – 6pm) or full day (8.45am – 6pm with 30 minute lunch break) – to start from 17th April in line with the Spring booster programme. Must be available Saturday 15th April or Sunday 16th April for training.

Part-time hours: 20 - 40 per week
Salary: £11.28 per hour
