Job description
A Quality and Projects Officer role is to ensure the integrity and effectiveness of the Companies Quality Management System, our compliance with ISO9001, and that we consistently meet or exceed our customer expectations for service and quality.
The duties of the role will include;
- Maintenance and continuous review of the Company’s Quality Management System, and to provide recommendations for improvements to the management team.
- Write new processes and procedures when required, with support from subject matter experts, to ensure the Company’s processes are valid and correct.
- Ensure the effective delivery of Projects within the business, by assuming an overview position of a matrix managed technical team, to meet the Company’s commitments.
- Chair Quality and Risk meetings, and ensure actions are completed and updated.
- Conduct internal audits of our sites located around the UK, to ensure local teams continue to adhere to the QMS.
- Ensure any customer feedback is managed appropriately and recorded. Any lessons learned to be issued to the Company knowledge database.
- Monitor and make recommendations to improve our Customers experience
- Ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction is maintained.
- Ensure that processes meet current safety, legal and quality national standards.
- Continuously maintain and develop your own knowledge to keep the Company ahead of developments with the standard.
