Park Academy West London is looking to appoint an exceptional individual to play an important role in our growing Academy.
The primary focus of the role of Cover Supervisor is to maintain good order in the classroom and keep students on task. You will be expected to act as a role model for students and have high expectations of conduct and behaviour. You will also be required to carry out administrative tasks within departments during times when you are not required to cover a class as well as supporting staff in the smooth running of the academy.
We are looking for someone who has a level of education that enables support to be given to students aged 11-16
including those preparing for GCSE. This requires at least 5 GCSEs at grade C and above which must include English Language, Maths and Science or hold equivalent qualifications.
The successful candidate will be joining a supportive team of staff which is devoted to ensuring rapid and sustained progress of all students at the Academy. An effective cover supervisor is an individual with exceptional drive and creativity, while also possessing a degree of flexibility and initiative in the much-varied daily role.
Each member of staff at Park Academy shares a drive to equip students with the qualifications, qualities and skills to reach their personal ambitions working together creatively to overcome any hurdle which might otherwise disadvantage our children.

36 hours per week (term time only) + 5 staff training days [39 weeks/annum]
