Who is Caring For Care?

Caring For Care is the UK's top rated healthcare training provider. We are 10 years old next year and we have big, exciting plans – sorry for the typo – BIG, EXCITING PLANS - that is better!

Caring For Care is a nurse led care and clinical company with high standards of customer service and creating a supportive team environment.

We provide online and face to face training to the health and social care sector. This is both onsite and nationwide at our customers venues.

We are a well-established company who encourages team members to grow and develop their skill set to enable them to make decisions about their role and the direction of the company.

Raising Standards Together is our motto and that ethos has been with us from the start and runs through the business today. With each team member having the freedom to share ideas and test new things, new ways of working without concern of a finger pointing blame culture if things don’t quite go to plan. It’s all learning!

It’s always been like that simply isn’t in our vocab.

We are the top rated clinical and care training provider – check out our reviews.

You can find out more information on our indeed company page, website, socials, and YouTube Videos.

Who are we looking for

This is the bit where you can decide if the job is for you as these are non-negotiables for Caring For Care.

We have an extremely awesome team.

It takes someone who is committed to the role and who wants to make things easier for others to be part of the gang.

p.s this does not mean taking work home or staying late that isn’t our definition of being committed to the role. We value work life balance and take lots of time and planning into reducing / avoiding potential overwhelm. Your health and stress levels are important to us and work shouldn’t have a negative impact on your health.

Where was I? Oh yes this is the bit where you can pre-screen yourself. Your time is valuable and if you are not nodding in agreement with the below working with Caring For Care is not for you.

1. You need to care. It soon becomes clear the people who say they care and who really do – we want the ones who really do care about providing excellent service to our customers, correcting mistakes, and not cutting corners.

2. You must be a dog lover not just a dog tolerator. With three dogs in the office, they play a big part of the team, and you will never be alone at dinner time. If you are not keen on dogs this isn’t the right company for you.

3. You want to help make things easier for others. Although you will have your core job role we don’t say ‘that’s not my job’ in the office – we all make brews and fill the dishwasher.

4. You want to be part of an exceptional team and are OK with being part of social media. I can’t imagine a better team to work with and part of our plans this year is to showcase our work culture. You don’t have to be involved in everything – you have a life – but it would be a bit weird if you didn’t want to get involved at all.

5. You are self-aware enough to know you don’t know everything and that another tam member may have a better way of working and will suggest this to you. We have a very positive attitude to open communication and sometimes this may be to say – you have done this wrong; can you change it BUT equally we will share your wins. We do not believe in toxic positivity, but we work hard on creating a positive, friendly and genuinely supportive office – we all want you to succeed!

Being organised and enjoying planning is an essential part of the role.

You may have experience in:

1. Customer service

2. Events planning and coordinating.

3. Domiciliary care coordinator

4. Administrator

5. Sales

6. Receptionist

7. Something I have not listed but that has transferable skills.

We want to employ based on skills and values rather than experience being the priority.

We have an exceptionally competent team from charity, beauty, engineering, hospitality, wedding / events planner and co-ordinator, health and social, head of garden websites and fitness backgrounds - you could say we are a mixed bag.

We have realised that experience doesn’t always equal competence and we would like to bring an individual into the team who has transferable skills, enthusiasm, values that are aligned with ours and a willing attitude to learn.

Although this is an inbound sales position it is the customer service experience that is a priority for us as we can provide training for how to support customers with their booking.

Where is the job located?

You will be working in our office based in Fenton, Stoke on Trent.

Due to our team dynamics now is not the right time for us to consider home working.

There is free parking on the car park. If you look on our socials there is information on bus routes if needed.

Why would you want to work with us?

Did I mention we have huge, big exciting plans? Yes of course I did as they are sssoooo exciting.

The sky really is the limit and in regard to progression you have lots of ability to impact the direction you go and ultimately the amount you earn.

We would never lead an individual on as your career choices effect lots of life decisions but as a company we are constantly evolving, and it would be great to have your enthusiasm onboard.

1. We offer flexible working hours which can help make the commute much easier. Our office is open 07:30 – 17:30 Monday – Friday.

2. Uncapped commission

3. Quarterly company bonus

4. Supportive working environment

Start date

We are looking for you to start in June. This allows time for interview process and notice period.

We are not simply looking for someone to fill the desk space and will wait until we find the right fit for the role.

How to apply

OK you have got this far – am I right in thinking there is some interest in working with us?

If so, please ensure you complete all assessments – we do not review applicants who have not completed all parts of the application.

Have a nosey on our website, socials etc – is this a place you can see yourself working?

A personalised cover letter is always nice to read, and an up-to-date relevant CV is essential. If you do not have direct office / administrator / sales experience, please let us know about your transferable skills.

Any questions please ask away and I will be happy to answer. Prefer to call? Ask to speak to a course advisor and they can answer any question you may have about the role.
