We currently require a courier Driver to join our Facilities Team at Borders General Hospital on a fixed term basis for 6 months.
This post is to provide a safe and effective transport service, using the NHS Borders courier vehicles, across NHS Borders and Lothian Edinburgh), including some external agencies (SPPA, Blood donor/Science centre). This involves transporting a wide variety of items and equipment (no transportation of patients or other passengers) to support NHSB services.
Applicants will be required to demonstrate a high level of competency and concentration in driving, follow all Health & Safety guidelines in relation to goods that will be transported, adhere to schedule deadlines and demonstrate NHS Values and good customer service.
